LOS ANGELES – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer fell to No. 20 UCLA 1-0 in a hard-fought match Saturday night at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. The Titans are now 5-3-2 on the year.

Fullerton fell behind early, giving up a goal to Michaelides Constantinos in the eighth minute of play. At halftime UCLA had 10 shots to Fullerton's four.

The Titans completely turned the game around in the second half, controlling possession and being the attacking team with a majority of chances. Fullerton finished the game with 15 shots to UCLA's 13.

Jorge Quintero had a great look on goal in the 61st minute from about 10 yards out after shaking two defenders but wasn't able to get it past the UCLA goalkeeper.

Midway through the second half the Titans had numbers in the attacking zone that looked to result in a penalty kick as Quintero was tackled in the box by the goalkeeper. However, play continued and resulted in an open-goal look for Sebastian Cruz but a Bruin defender kicked the ball off the line to prevent a Titan equalizer.

Fullerton now turns to Big West play beginning Wednesday on the road at UC Irvine. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
