LOS ANGELES – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer fell to LMU on the road at Sullivan Field Thursday night by a final score of 2-1. With the loss the Titans are now 4-2-1 on the year.

The Titans dominated the possession and the pace of the game for a majority of the game but gave up the first goal in the 77th minute to Leo Zulli.

Two minutes later Sebastian Cruz tied the game at 1-1 on a great shot from just outside the 18-yard box. Julian Madrigal recorded the assist on the goal, his third of the year.

Cruz leads the Big West and is tied for first in the country with six goals in just seven games. The junior has 15 points this year, two shy of his total from the 2021 season.

Fullerton kept the attack on late in the game looking to secure the three points which opened up the defense, allowing LMU's Adam Davie to score the game-winning goal in the 87th minute.

The Titans look to bounce back Sunday as they head south to take on the University of San Diego. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. PT.
