Men's Soccer Loses to Cal Poly on the Road

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer lost to Cal Poly Wednesday night by a final score of 2-0 at Alex G. Spanos Stadium. The Titans are now 3-8-2 on the season with a record of 1-4 in the Big West Conference. 

Fullerton had its opportunities throughout the match but were unable to come up with a goal. The Titans outshot Cal Poly 14-7 while dominating the second half with 10 shots to the Mustangs one. In addition, The Titans were able to earn nine corner kicks while Cal Poly earned just two. Mario Gomez led the team with five shots while Noah Dollenmayer recorded four.

The team looks to bounce back from the loss Saturday at Titan Stadium as it hosts UC Riverside. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. PT.
