SAN DIEGO – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer dropped its road contest to UC San Diego by a final score of 3-1 Saturday evening at Triton Soccer Stadium.
Fullerton controlled the pace throughout much of the first half, however, the Tritons were able to score in the 38th minute, just a few minutes before halftime to take a 1-0 lead. UC San Diego's Jonah Bryan scored on a header off a corner kick.
The Titans came out of the locker room in the second half with high energy looking to get the equalizer as they pressured UC San Diego from the kickoff. Just over two minutes later UC San Diego extended its lead to 3-0 on a goal by Mason Haubrich.
