Titans Drop First Match of Season to No. 16 James Madison in Overtime

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer dropped its first match of the season to No. 16 James Madison by a final score of 1-0 in overtime Wednesday night on the road. 

The Titans (8-1-1) battled throughout but gave up the game-winning goal in the 95th minute of action. Tyler Cregg scored the golden goal for James Madison (8-2). Earlier this season JMU knocked off previously No. 1 ranked Wake Forest at home.  

Paul-Andre Guerin had a great game in net for the Titans to keep them in the game, recording eight saves with a couple of world class stops to keep the game scoreless throughout regulation. 

Fullerton looks to keep back to its winning way Saturday as the face the defending national champions, Maryland, at 4:00 p.m. PT.
