FULLERTON, Calif. – Four members of the 2018 Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team signed professional contracts following the season in which they led the Titans to their fifth consecutive Big West Tournament appearance.
After spending five years at Fullerton, Robert Coronado signed with Rio Grande Valley FC in the United Soccer League. Coronado missed all of the 2017 season with an injury but bounced back to have an impactful 2018 campaign, scoring one goal to go along with a tied for a team-high six assists. Throughout his career, Coronado recorded 18 assists which ranks tied for sixth for most assists in the history of the program.

Mark Hernandez also signed with a USL team, joining Reno 1868 FC. Hernandez came to Cal State Fullerton after spending two years at Golden West College. In his two years with the Titans, Hernandez scored four goals while recording six assists.
Zico Bailey elected to turn pro after his freshman year, signing with Kalmar FF in the first division in Sweden. In 21 games, Bailey scored one goal to go along with two assists.

In his two years with the Titans, Samuel Goni led the team both seasons in goals and points, scoring nine goals and recording 19 points in 2017 and six goals with 14 points in 2018. Goni's nine goals in 2017 ranked third in the Big West Conference while last season he was tied for sixth with six goals. Goni was the first Titan to sign a professional contract following the 2018 season, joining Celaya FC in Mexico.
