Titans and Highlanders History
The Titans have yet to claim a victory over the Highlanders after losing their first matchup of the season 1-0 and earning a 1-1 draw in the final meeting of the regular season.

The last time the two teams met on Oct. 21, Fullerton trailed 1-0 heading into the final minutes of play before Samuel Goni scored in the 89th minute to send the game into to overtime before the Titans etched out a 1-1 draw.

In Kuntz's first year at the helm of the men's soccer program in 2014, the Titans eliminated UC Riverside for the Big West Tournament in the conference semifinals in a 3-0 shutout victory.

UCR vs. UCSB
UC Riverside earned a spot in the conference semifinals after defeating UC Santa Barbara Wednesday night in Santa Barbara 1-0 as the No. 3 seed from the South Division. The Highlanders were outplayed by UCSB in nearly every category of Wednesday's match as they were outshot 11-7 while UCSB three corner kicks to there one.

The Highlanders only mustered one shot on goal, however, that was enough as they scored on a goal from Eduardo Sanchez in the 88th minute of play to take a 1-0 lead which they would not relinquish.

Three Seniors Last Hurrah
The Titans three seniors, Nicolo D'Amato, Corentin Ohlmann and Diego Sanchez know this is their last chance to something special in a Titans uniform and they aren't ready to be done play collegiate soccer just yet.

"I think it's everything, everything I've been playing for these past three years," D'Amato said. "We've been successful these past three years and I want to have that same success this year, so we're going to come out with everything."

D'Amato has been a member of the Titans since 2014 and has appeared in 75 matches during his four-year career. He has been a part of the last two Titans squads to win the Big West Tournament and advance the NCAA Tournament. In his career with the Titans, Nico has scored three goals and recorded five assists.

As one of the captains of the team, D'Amato knows it's on him and his fellow seniors to be leaders for the rest of the team throughout the season.

"It's crunch time and everyone knows that," D'Amato said. "For us it's an exciting time, this is when the leaders come into play, these big games is where it will show.

Ohlmann, also a captain on the team, has been a leader for the Titans defense since arriving here last season. In his two years with the team Ohlmann has appeared in 39 of the Titans 42 games.

While Sanchez may not be an official captain of the team, he is certainly one of the team's leaders. In his senior season, Sanchez has recorded two goals and a team-high five assists. Like D'Amato, Sanchez has been with the Titans since his freshman year and has been apart of the last two teams to win the Big West Tournament and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

If the three seniors are able to lead the Titans to a victory Saturday night they will face of the winner of UC Davis and CSUN. If UC Davis comes out on top the Titans will travel to Davis Wednesday for the championship game. If CSUN gets a victory, Fullerton would play host to the Matadors at Titan Stadium.
