IRVINE, Calif. -- After getting his fifth and sixth goal of the season this weekend, Cal State Fullerton's Alex Heilmann was named Big West Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week, the conference announced this afternoon.

Heilmann is coming off a strong performance at the Courtyard Marriott San Diego Central Tournament where he netted two goals, including a golden goal in double overtime to beat the University of Texas Rio-Grande Valley, 1-0.

The senior has been a key contributor to the Titan attack this season as he currently leads the Big West in goals (6) and points (12). He has also been making his strikes at goal count with his shot on goal percentage sitting at .667.

Heilmann became the first Titan to receive the weekly honor this season and the first Fullerton player to be named Offensive Athlete of the Week since Brandon West last September.

Up next for Heilmann and the Cal State Fullerton men's soccer squad is San Francisco on Friday. The Titans will battle the Dons at 4 p.m. PT in San Francisco, Calif.
