SOPHOMORE (2015): Appeared and started in all 22 games for the Titans… Earned an All-Big West Honorable Mention nod after scoring one goal and one assist while recording 29 shots on the year… Landed nine shots on target, including his lone goal of the season in the 50th minute after recording his lone assist earlier in the match in a 3-0 win over San Francisco, recording three points that game for a career-high… Also recorded a career-high four shots in a 2-1 loss against CSUN.
FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 14 games for the Titans in his freshman year…Earned one assist on the season with four shots on goal…His best performance came in the Big West Conference Semifinal game at UC Riverside when his assist on the Titans third goal of the game sealed the win, 3-0, to advance into the tournament finals.
HIGH SCHOOL A 2014 graduate of El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif…played on the varsity squad for three years (2012-14) as a central midfielder…was a two time South Coast League First Team pick (2013 & 2014), and following his senior year was named the SCL MVP while also earning all-county honors following a 23-goal season…during his sophomore season received second team all-league accolades.
PERSONAL Born in Palermo, Sicily…parents are Antonio and Veronica D’Amato…has two brothers, Vincenzo and Gianluca…major is kinesiology and would like to become a physical therapist following graduation...played club soccer for nine years with Pateadores (4) and West Coast (5) as a central midfielder…championships included: West Coast Tournament, National Cup (2x), Far West Regional, and National League runner-up and champions.
