Golfers in 2nd Place

Beaumont, Calif. - Consistent freshman Ryan Tetrault shot a second round of 1-under par 71 Monday afternoon but he was the only Titan to break par as Cal State Fullerton slid into second place 10 strokes behind Sacramento State in the Braveheart Men's Golf Classic at Oak Valley Golf Club.

Tetrault's 2-round score of 142 (71-71) shares the team lead with Mark Anguiano (67-75). One stroke back is Dakota Duerr at 143 (70-73) followed by Scott Rubzin at 146 (74-72) and Corey Gard at 151 (75-76).

Fullerton's team score is 573 (282-291). Sacramento State came in at 563 (282-281). San Francisco is in third place at 575.

There is a three-way tie for the individual lead going into Tuesday's final round of 18 holes. Cameron Rappleye of Sacramento State (72-66), Ji Hwan Park of USF (71-67) and Breyden Eriksen of Utah Valley (65-73) are deadlocked at 138.
