Titans Finish 3rd at Ram Masters Invitational

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Cal State Fullerton men's golf kicked off the 2023-24 season with a third-place finish at the Ram Masters Invitational on Thursday.

Tegan Andrews led the Titans, finishing tied for fourth place with Colorado State's Christoph Bleier. Andrews golfed a 3-under par 207 (70-70-67) after finishing day one of the tournament tied for 10th place.

Garrett Boe tied for ninth, shooting an even-par 210 (68-67-75). Boe worked an effective two rounds on Wednesday, leaving him tied for second place before finding a rough patch in his final round.

Trevor McNary finished the first round in 69 strokes, before completing the tournament tied for 12th place with a score of 1-over par 211.

Matthew Schafer and Patrick Ordonez completed the Titans team at the Ram Masters Invitational. Schafer tied for 25th after shooting a 6-over par 216 (74-67-75). Ordonez shot a 13-over par 223, improving five spots to finish tied for 50th in his first tournament with the Titans.

The Titans will return to the golf course at the Nick Watney Invitational hosted by Fresno State on Sept. 25-26.
