Titans End Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate Tied for Eighth

PALM DESERT, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's golf finished the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate tied for eighth place after shooting a 19-over par 883 on Friday.

Harry Doig ranked the highest amongst the Titans, finishing tied for fourth place after shooting a 3-under par 213 Doig shot a 72 in the first round. His best performance came in the second round on Thursday with a 66. Doig shot a 75 in the final round.

Trevor McNary finished tied for 37th place with a 7-over par 223. McNary also did his best in the second round, shooting a 73. He shot a 74 in the first round and ended the intercollegiate with a 76.

Matthew Schafer shared 56th place with two other golfers with an 11-over par 227. Schafer shot 81 and 71 in the first two rounds and wrapped up the final round with a 75.

Garrett Boe climbed 13 spots over the three-day intercollegiate. After the final round, Boe sat tied for 60th place with a 13-over par 229.

The Titans will return to the course Monday, March 13, for the GCU Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona.
