Men’s Golf in Second After Two Rounds of Nick Watney Invitational

KINGSBURG, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton's men's golf sits in second place after two rounds of the Nick Watney Invitational with a score of 9-under par 276. 

Harry Doig leads the team individually and is in third place after shooting 8-under par 134. Doig shot an impressive four-under par 67 in the first two rounds. 

Tied for eighth place is Matthew Schafer, who shot a 4-under par 138. Russell Howlett finished day one of the invitational tied for 14th place after shooting a 2-under par 140. 

Howard Yoon shares 28th place with a score of 1-over par 143, while Garrett Boe is tied for 35th place after shooting 2-over par 144. Trevor McNary is tied for 42nd place after finishing the first two rounds 3-over par 145. 

Long Beach State is in first place at 21-under par 553. Long Beach State's Ian Gilligan is at the top of the leaderboard with a score of 12-under par 130. 

The Titans look to overtake their cross town rivals on day two of the Nick Watney Invitational on Tuesday.
