Fullerton in Fourth Place Heading Into Final Round at the Big West Championships

LIHUE, HI. – After two rounds at the Big West Conference Championship, Cal State Fullerton is in fourth place with a score of 16-over par 592.

Senior Matt Wilson has continued his hot streak from the last month as he is tied for second place at 1-under par 143. Wilson shot a 75 in round one before improving with a 68 in the second round of the tournament.

Michael Sharkey and Jack Dyer are both tied for 18th place heading into the third and final round with a score of 6-over par 150. Both shot a 76 in round one before wrapping up the day with a 74 in round two.

Derek Castillo is tied for for 26th after shooting a 9-over par 153. Dalton Daniel rounds out the group as he is tied for 31st at 10-over par 154 heading into round three of the conference tournament.

The Titans are just six strokes behind UC Irvine who leads the tournament heading into day two at 10-over par 586. UC Santa Barbara's Zach Smith leads the tournament individually with a score of 2-under par 142.

Fullerton returns to action for the third and final round of the Big West Championship Tuesday morning with tee times beginning at 10:20 a.m. PT.
