PALM DESERT, Calif. – After two rounds at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, Cal State Fullerton men's golf is in a tie for eighth place with a total score of 18-over par 594.
The Titans finished round two with a score of 7-over par 295. They fell three spots on the leaderboard from where they started the day.
Matt Wilson led the way again, finishing round two with a score of 1-under par 71. He is tied for 10th place at 1-over par 145 after two rounds.
Derek Castillo also climbed the leaderboards and improved his overall score. He shot 1-under par 71 in round two, giving him a total score of 3-over par 147 and tied for 22nd place individually heading into the third and final round.
Michael Sharkey is tied for 52nd after two rounds with a score of 7-over par 151. Sharkey shot a 75 in round one and a 76 in round two. Dalton Daniel sits in a tie for 62nd place after shooting a 8-over par 152 in the first two rounds. Jack Dyer is at 10-over par 154 to leave him tied for 72nd.
Texas Tech leads the field with a score of 4-under par 572 heading into tomorrow's final round. Boise State moved up two spots from round one and sits in second place with a score of 2-under par 574. Boise State's Skyler Eubank held the top spot individually a score of 8-under par 136 through two rounds.
