FORT COLLINS, Colo. – After completing two rounds Monday at the Rams Masters Invitational hosted by Colorado State the Titans are tied for eighth place with a score of 17-over par 577.
Fullerton greatly improved in the second round, shooting a 280 to move up from 16th place after shooting a 297 in the first round. Colorado State leads the field with a 13-under par 547 followed by Illinois State at 2-under par.
Dalton Daniel leads the way individually for the Titans after shooting a 2-over par 142 to leave him tied for 19th place heading into the third and final round. Matt Wilson trails Daniel by just one stoke, finishing day one with a 3-over par 143 to place him tied for 27th.
Derek Castillo and first year transfer Jack Dyer are tied for 55th place with a score of 7-over 147. Castillo shot a 75 in round one and improved three strokes in round two, shooting a 72 while Dyer improved from a 74 in round one to a 73 in round two. Michael Sharkey is tied for 73rd after shooting a 10-over par 150.
The Titans return for the third and final round Tuesday morning with Castillo and Sharkey teeing off first at 7:33 a.m. PT. You can follow all the action of round three on GolfStat.com.
