Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic Final Round (PDF)
LAHAINA, Hawaii – Cal State Fullerton finished 22nd overall at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic hosted by the University of Hawai'i.
The Titans shot a 7-over 291 in Sunday's third and final round to finish at 34-over for the tournament. Clemson took the overall team title as it recorded a 26-under 826, one stroke better than runner-up Georgia and two strokes ahead of LSU. Oklahoma (-18) and South Carolina (-12) rounded out the top five.
Mark Cobey posted the Titans best round of the day as he shot a 1-under 70. He finished the tournament at 5-over, which tied for 60th place along with freshman Ty Stites, who shot a 2-over 73 on Sunday.
Matt Wilson finished the tournament at 224 and was tied for 97th overall while Michael Sharkey rounded out the team scoring at 227. Matt Murphy shot a 235 and Jack Ireland, competing as an individual, wrapped up the tournament with a 225.
The Titans will return to the links for the spring portion of the 2016-17 season on Jan. 30 as they host the annual Folino Invitational.
