Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational Round Two Results (PDF)
STOCKTON, Calif. – Matt Wilson and Michael Sharkey each posted rounds under par Friday as the Titans completed round-two action at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational.
Wilson and Sharkey each carded rounds of 3-under 68 on Friday after no Titans golfer was able to record a score in the red in the first round. Wilson is currently tied for 21st overall with a 2-over 144 while Sharkey is tied for 28th with a 3-over 145. They both trail Aaron Beverly (Sacramento State) and Rhett Rasmussen (BYU), who both tied for the overall lead after 36 holes with a 6-under 136.
As for the Titans, they remained in 11th place in the team after posting a 3-over 287 on Friday, improving on their first-round score by 13 strokes. BYU currently holds the overall lead with a 9-under 559, seven strokes ahead of Seattle and eight ahead of Sacramento State.
Mark Cobey posted a 5-over 76 in his second round while CJ Coleman rounded out the Titans team scoring with a 4-over 75 for a 36-hole score of 149. Ty Stites is currently at 153.
Competing as an individual, Jack Ireland shot a 3-over 74 on Friday and is currently tied for 37th with a 4-over 146.
The Titans wrap up the tournament Saturday with a shotgun start set for 8:30 a.m.
