FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team finished its second day of competition moving up one spot to 11th in the Warrior-Wave Intercollegiate presented by St. Regis Princeville Resort at Makai Golf Club in Princeville, Kaua'i on Tuesday.

The Titans shot 294 to finish six over par, while Baylor's score of 280 after shooting eight under par propelled the Bears into first place.

The tournament, co-hosted by the University of Hawai'i and Pepperdine University, is host to five teams currently ranked in the top-50 by Golfweek including No. 35 San Diego State, No. 39 Indiana, No. 46 San Diego, No. 48 Georgia Southern and No. 49 Baylor.

Following the second day of competition, Baylor is in the lead with an overall score of 567 (-9), followed by UC Irvine (-6, 570), East Tennessee State (-5, 571), North Carolina State (-5, 571) and Georgia Southern (-1, 575).

With a total score of 137 (69-68) through day two, North Carolina State's Albin Choi is in the lead.

Fullerton junior Corey Gard shot 71 (-1) on Tuesday to move up 12 spots to 20th on the leaderboard with a score of 145 (75-71). Senior Dakota Duerr is tied for 29th with an overall score of 147 after finishing Tuesday with a round of 74 (+2).

Junior Mark Anguiano (152, +8) rounded out the second day of competition shooting a 73 (+1) and is currently tied for 57th in the standings.  Sophomore Ryan Tetrault shot 76 (+4) in round two, and is also tied for 57th (152, +8) heading into the final day of play.

Play concludes with an 8 a.m. tee-off for the final 18 holes on Wednesday.
