FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball was defeated by San Francisco on Saturday afternoon by a score of 91-69. The Titans had four players in double figures, led by senior guard Austen Awosika (14 points) but it was not enough to hold off the Dons as they never trailed.

The game was tied 19-19 at the 10:05 mark of the first half but the Dons (9-2 overall) went on a 22-6 run to lead 43-25 at the 3:40 mark. That run would give them a cushion over the Titans (3-9 overall) that they would not relinquish. Four Dons scored 10+, led by Dzmitry Ryuny with 18 points.

Fullerton snapped a 24-game winning streak when shooting better than 50% from the field as the Titans shot 51.9% (27-52 FGA) on the night. The Titans went 4-13 (30.8%) from three and 11-14 (78.6%) from the free-throw line. San Francisco also shot the ball well as it went 33-64 from the floor (51.6%) and connected on 11 three-point field goals (40.7%). The Dons also shot 14-17 (82.4%) from the charity stripe.

Awosika tallied 14 points marking his 10th straight game scoring 10+ and the 11th overall this season. He also chipped in four rebounds, five assists and a steal in 30 minutes of action. Sophomore guard Wayne Arnold scored !! points. Senior forward Davon Clare posted 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Freshman guard Tory San Antonio scored a career-high 11 points. Senior forward Jackson Rowe made his season debut, tallying four points, three rebounds and a blocked shot in 11 minutes.
