Long Beach, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball earned its first road win of the season on Saturday night in a 92-90 overtime victory at Long Beach State. It was also the program's first win at LBSU since Feb. 4, 2010, which was also an overtime win. In a game that was tied 14 times and had 12 lead changes, the Titans secured the victory.

All five starters for the Titans scored in double-figures, led by senior guard Kyle Allman, Jr. with 30 points (9-15 FGA, 3-4 3FGA, 9-12 FTA). Senior guard Khalil Ahmad scored 16 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and tied a career-high with 5 steals. Junior guard Austen Awosika tallied 14 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Junior forward Jackson Rowe contributed 13 points, nine rebounds and a team-high +10 +/- rating while sophomore forward Johnny Wang had 10 points (5-7 FGA), four rebounds and a block.

The Titans led by 10 at the half after shooting 61% from the field in the first frame but cooled off in the second half and let the 49ers tie the game. For the game, CSF shot 32-62 (52 percent) from the field, their second game eclipsing the 50% mark and a season-high total against a DI opponent. It was also a season-high 92 points for the Titans against DI competition.

Long Beach had the final possession of regulation with the score tied and the Titans secured a defensive stop to send the game into overtime where the team just grinded its way to a win. In the extra five minutes, CSF went 4-7 from the field and 5-6 from the stripe with three steals.
