FULLERTON, Calif. - The Big West Conference announced on Monday that Cal State Fullerton men's basketball junior forward Jackson Rowe was named Big West Player of the Week.

Earning his first career Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award, Rowe contributed a double-double in nearly leading Cal State Fullerton to a road upset of Washington on Jan. 1.

Rowe tallied 22 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double this season – and the 11th of his career. The 22 points was a season-high for the 6-foot-7 forward in the narrow 84-76 loss against the Huskies. He scored 15 of his points in the first half to give the Titans a 42-34 lead at halftime. Six of Rowe's 11 rebounds came on the offensive end, helping the Titans enjoy a 14-10 advantage in second chance points. He added an assist and a blocked shot in his 36 minutes of activity while shooting 9-of-13 shots from the floor and 4-of-5 from the free throw line. He recorded double-digit rebounds for the second straight game and fourth time this season.

Rowe and the Titans kick off Big West play at Hawai'i on Wednesday at 9 p.m. PT and then host UC Irvine on Saturday at 6 p.m. PT.
