Thursday, Jan. 26 | Walter Pyramid

The Titans and 49ers will face off for the first time this season and the 114th time overall. Long Beach State is coming off a 98-92 overtime victory at Cal Poly. The 49ers trailed by as much as 17 points in the second half but mounted a furious rally to force overtime and eventually score their second straight win. On Tuesday, the 49ers announced that guard Gabe Levin is out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a fracture in his knee. Levin played and started in 16 games this season for Long Beach State, leading the team in rebounding and placing second in scoring over the team's non-conference schedule.

The Titans have lost six straight games at the Walter Pyramid and have not beaten the 49ers in Long Beach since an 81-75 victory in overtime on Feb. 4, 2010.

Last Meeting:

The Titans and 49ers were tied 10 times and traded the lead 10 times but Justin Bibbins hit the game-winning layup as time expired to lift Long Beach State to a 75-73 victory at Titan Gym on March 2, 2016.
