Cal State Fullerton heads to Cedar City, Utah for a midweek contest at Southern Utah on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. (PT). Following the Titans game against the Thunderbirds, they will return home to face the Nevada Wolf pack on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.

Southern Utah is looking for its first win of the season after starting the year with three losses to Utah (82-71), UNLV (84-64) and UT San Antonio (82-79). Travon Langston is the Thunderbirds scoring leader as he averages 12.7 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds per game for second on the team. SUU is led by Casey Oliverson with 6.0 boards per game.

Head-To-Head: Cal State Fullerton leads the all-time series with Southern Utah. The Titans own a 5-0 advantage as the Thunderbirds are looking for their first-ever victory over the CSF.

Last Meeting: Cal State Fullerton rolled past Southern Utah by a score of 112-69 on Nov. 17, 2012 in Reno, Nev., at the World Vision Classic. The Titans were led by a career-high 32-point performance from D.J. Seeley in the contest.

Saturday, Nov. 28 | Titan Gym
Nevada comes into Titan Gym with a 3-1 record, boasting wins over Coastal Carolina (73-59), Montana State (83-62), and an overtime time win at Pacific (85-82). The Wolf Pack's only loss came at Hawai'i (76-75) on Nov. 16. Marqueze Coleman leads the Pack in scoring with 99 points for an average of 24.8 points per game. He's also dished out a team-leading 11 assists, while grabbing 19 rebounds, four steals and postng one block.

Head-To-Head: Nevada leads the all-time series against Cal State Fullerton 12-4. The Wolf Pack has won the last 11 mataches as the Titans look for their first win over the Pack since a 97-72 victory in 1994.

Last Meeting: In their last meeting, Nevada edged Cal State Fullerton by a score of 80-77 at the World Vision Classic. Fullerton's Kwame Vaughn led both teams with a 20-point performance, while Nevada's Kevin Panzer had a team-high 18 points.

LAST TIME OUT
The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team used a balanced offense and stout defense to win its 12th straight home opener with a 67-55 victory over San Diego.

The Titans (2-1) had four scorers reach double-figures as they were led by redshirt senior guard Malcolm Brooks' 16 points which tied his career-high. Brooks led the quartet of Tre' Coggins (12 points), Khalil Ahmad (11 points) and Lionheart Leslie (10 points) as Fullerton has had at least three players reach double-figures in all three of its games thus far.

In addition to the offensive attack, Fullerton also received a strong showing from its defense as San Diego (0-3) was held to just 37.5-percent shooting from the field and 25-percent shooting from beyond the arc. Sophomore forward Jamar Akoh led the Titans with seven rebounds in the game, five of which were defensive boards.

Coggins played hard on both ends of the court as he led the squad with four steals, while adding three rebounds and one block. The Titans' stout defensive play led to 19 Torero turnovers which turned into 20 points for Fullerton.

The Titans shot 46-percent from the floor in the game and made 50-percent of their three-point attempts. Fullerton also got a lot of offense from its bench with 31 points coming from non-starters.

San Diego was led by Marcus Harris and Jito Kok who posted 14 and 12 points, respectively. The duo each posted five rebounds, while Kok added three blocks and one steal. However, Kok also committed seven turnovers in the game.

CLEANING UP THE GLASS
Senior center Kennedy Esume grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds in the Titans' season-opener at Loyola Marymount. He finished the game just one board shy of hitting the 20-rebound plateau. The last time a Titan recorded 20 rebounds in a game was in 2012 when former Titan Omondi Amoke grabbed 21 boards against UC Irvine. Esume is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game to lead the team, while Jamar Akoh is second on the squad with an average of 4.0.

DOUBLE-FIGURE SCORERS
The Titans have had at least three double-figure scorers in each game of the season thus far. Leading the way is Tre' Coggins who has averaged 15.0 points per game to lead Fullerton, while Malcolm Brooks is hot on his heels with 14.0 ppg. Freshman Khalil Ahmad is averaging 10.0 points per game to round out the Titan leading scorers.

HELPING HANDS
In three games thus far, Tre' Coggins, Sheldon Blackwell and Lionheart Leslie have combined 23 of the Titans' 40 assists. Coggins and Blackwell have each dished out eight assists, while Leslie has collected seven.

BY THE NUMBERS
Cal State Fullerton is out-shooting opponents 46-percent to 38.3-percent on the year. Additionally, the Titans  hold the edge in three-point shooting (41.5-percent to 28-percent). Fullerton also owns the edge in steals with 16 to its counterparts' 13.

TITAN TEAM NOTES
• Kennedy Esume registered a career-high 19 rebounds in Cal State Fullerton's 79-74 loss at Loyola Marymount.
• Malcolm Brooks went 7-for-11 from the field  posting a 63.6-percentage with a team-high 16 points in the season opener.
• Malcolm Brooks is a perfect 10-for-10 from the line in three games for the Titans this season.
• The starting five of Jamar Akoh, Kennedy Esume, Tre' Coggins, Lanerryl Johnson and Malcolm Brooks, combined for 52 of the Titans' 74 points (70-percent) against LMU.
• The Titans registered a come from behind vicotry at Pacific on Tuesday out-scoring the Tigers 7-0 in the final three minutes of action for the win.
• Tre' Coggins leads the team in steals with six, four of which came in the Titans' home opener against San Diego.
• As a team, Cal State Fullerton is averaging  72.7 points per game, 33.7 rebounds per game,  13.3 assists per game, 5.3 steals per game and 1.3 blocks per game.

The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team is scheduled to make a total of nine television appearances during the 2015-16 season.

BIG WEST BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT ALL-SESSION TICKETS ON SALE
Honda Center and the Big West Conference have announced that all-session tickets for the 2016 Big West Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament will go on sale Friday, November 13.

All-session school reserved tickets will be available for $69.00. These seats will be located within a school's section and can be purchased through each institution's box office.

Premium all-session tickets located in the first four rows of seating will be available for $149.00.  General admission all-session tickets are also available for $69.00. These seats can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster retail outlets, or by calling 800-745-3000.

The 2015 Big West Tournament will be hosted for the sixth straight year at Honda Center in Anaheim.  The women's tournament first round and quarterfinal games will be played at UC Irvine on March 8-9. The men's tournament begins on March 10 at Honda Center with four quarterfinal games.  The semifinals and championship games for both the men and women will take place March 11 and 12 at the Honda Center.

PRESEASON PREDICTIONS
The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team was selected to finish ninth in the Big West Conference in the Preseason Media Poll. For the third straight year UC Irvine is the media favorite to claim the Big West title, followed by UC Santa Barbara and Hawai'i.

TITANS IN THE NBA
Former Cal State Fullerton men's basketball player Josh Akognon became the 12th former Titan to appear in the NBA on April 10, 2013 playing four minutes and scoring two points to go with an assist for the Dallas Mavericks in their 102-91 loss to the Phoenix Suns at the American Airlines Center.

Akognon, who played two seasons for Fullerton from 2007-09, became the first Titan to appear in an NBA game since Bobby Brown (2003-07) competed for the New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers in the 2009-10 season.

NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE DRAFT
Four former members of the Cal State Fullerton men's basketball program were selected in the 2014 NBA Development League Draft on Nov. 1.

D.J. Seeley (2012-13) was the first Titan selected as the first pick of the second round by the Delaware 87ers.

Omondi Amoke (2012) was selected as the fifth pick of the second round by the Grand Rapids Drive.

Michael Williams (2014), the 2014 Big West Newcomer of the Year, was selected as the 15th pick of the second round by the Sioux Fall Skyforce.

Sammy Yeager (2013) was chosen as the ninth pick of the seventh round by the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
