FULLERTON, Calif. -- The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team (11-8 overall, 4-3 in the Big West Conference) looks to close out its trip to Northern California with a perfect 2-0 mark as the Titans face-off against Pacific on Saturday night (Jan. 26) at 7 p.m. from the Spanos Center in Stockton, Calif.

Saturday will mark the final meeting between the Titans and Tigers in Stockton as members of the Big West as Pacific has announced that it will leave the league for the West Coast Conference beginning with the 2013-14 academic year. The two will meet at Titan Gym on Feb. 28.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS: Pacific enters Saturday night with an 11-8 overall record, but a 5-2 mark in Big West Conference play for second place -- one game ahead of the Titans, UC Irvine and Cal Poly, while standing one game back of first-place Long Beach State... Pacific has won two-straight and five of the last six after defeating Cal State Northridge last week and defeating UC Riverside on Thursday... the Tigers are 7-2 at the Spanos Center this season and have won four-straight home games dating to a four-point loss to Santa Clara on Dec. 15... senior guard Lorenzo McCloud leads Pacific offensively, averaging 11.5 ppg in 19 starts while shooting 46 percent from the floor.

HEAD-TO-HEAD WITH PACIFIC: Pacific leads the all-time series with Cal State Fullerton, 46-37, but the Titans have won the last four in the series with the Tigers, sweeping the regular season series in each of the last two seasons... Fullerton is 19-21 all-time at the Spanos Center, but is just 4-6 in its last 10 trips to Stockton.

LAST TIME OUT -- CAL STATE FULLERTON 95, UC DAVIS 88: Senior D.J. Seeley scored 32 points to lead three teammates in double figures and Cal State Fullerton rallied from an eight-point second-half deficit to defeat host UC Davis at The Pavilion. Senior Kwame Vaughn scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half to help the Titans rally while senior Sammy Yeager (16 points, eight rebounds) and sophomore Alex Harris (10 points, six rebounds, four assists) also finished in double figures. A three-point play by Vaughn with 7:46 remaining gave Fullerton the lead for good as the Titans led by as many as six before holding off the Aggies down the stretch for the shootout victory.
