Fullerton, Calif. - A trio of Cal State Fullerton baseball player garnered postseason awards for their outstanding achievements throughout the 2007 baseball season.

Junior centerfielder Clark Hardman was named a second-team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), junior right hander Wes Roemer was named a third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association, and senior right-hander Bryan Harris was named a Big West Academic All-Conference player for his performance in the classroom.

Hardman finished the season hitting .380 and had the ninth-best single season by any Fullerton player, collecting 103 hits in 2007, 44 more than the next best Titan. He hit a career-best five home runs driving 47 RBI from the leadoff spot and stole a career-high nine bases. This was the second time Hardman has been named an All-American in his four-years in the Titan program. The Chicago Cubs selected the Trabuco Canyon-native in the ninth round of this year's MLB First Year Player's draft on June 8.

Roemer finished strong down the stretch leading the Titans to their 15th College World Series appearance last week. The Friday night starter finished the year going 11-7 with a 3.19 ERA while striking out a Big West Conference-leading 150 batters and breaking the Cal State Fullerton career strikeout mark with 366 career K's. The Glendora-native's seven complete games in 19 starts paced the team. Roemer was selected in the compensitory round (just after the 1st round), and was the 50th player overall taken in the MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Harris, a utility player throughout the season, played 19 games at third base for the injured Evan McArthur, and became the team's strongest reliever over the final weeks of the season. At the plate, Harris hit .220 with a homer and nine RBI, and on the mound the Tustin-native went 2-3 with the team's third-best ERA of 2.65. The right-hander notched three saves in 34 innings of work and held the opponents to a .203 batting average against him. Harris was also honored at the College World Series as the team's best student during the tournament's opening ceremonies. Harris was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 22nd round of this year's draft.
