CAL STATE FULLERTON
Cal State Fullerton Head Coach Dave Serrano
(Opening Statement) "I'm proud of how our team performed. It was a copy of last weekend's first game. We excelled in all areas. We played fabulous defense like we did all year and did a tremendous job offensively."

(On Louisville's style) "They're aggressive in the box. That's their style. We kind of took that away from them and got the early lead. With our staff, it kind of feeds into our style of play. We don't adjust to other people; we just play our own game."

(On Fullerton's play) "We're just playing good baseball right now. I think the Titans are playing at a high level and it makes it hard for anyone we're playing to beat us."

(On winning this game) "It's just game one. We're not going to start counting the innings or the outs. All we've talked about as a goal all season is to try to sweep the series, and if we can't sweep them, we'll try to get it on Sunday."

Sophomore pitcher Daniel Renken
(On his performance) "I threw strikes and let the defense do the work. They (Louisville) got themselves out most times. They did a lot of swinging at the first pitch."

(On Louisville's aggressive style) "It didn't faze me that they kept swinging. It kind of fed me."

(On his pitching) "I missed a lot of spots but the inside fastball got to them and I established the plate in the fourth or fifth inning."

Senior first baseman Jared Clark
(On the Titans coming out strong) "I thought we came out and did exactly what we wanted to do. We put pressure on the defense - stealing, bunting, hit and run - obviously we did that very well."
