"That was a good victory for the Titans. When you're in an elimination game, there's no better way to win than to be hanging on a cliff. Hopefully this will propel us into tomorrow.

"We kind of played last night like we did at the start of the year... trying to win the national championship. I liked our composure today. And superstar players rise to the occasion.

(on only 9 hits in 2 games): "Give credit where credit is due. Good pitching beats good hitting. I don't think we will see two better guys than we're seen in the first two games."

"We're sitting pretty with our pitching. Thanks to Dylan and Noe, we haven't had to use our bullpen other than Nick getting the last 3 outs. I have a plan...we'll see how it plays out tonight."

CAL STATE FULLERTON SHORTSTOP Christian Colon
(on 1st home run): "It was a change up... up.... I just reacted to it. The second was a fastball... I was sitting on it. I was able to come through for the team.

Last night just didn't work out for us. After today, we're ready to go.

(on eliminating Stanford): "Sweet... we got some payback (for 2008 Super Regional).

(on visit from Coach Serrano in the 7th inning): "He just tried to calm me and the whole infield down. That was a huge home run for them... a momentum builder for them."

"This was a big college baseball game, both teams played exceptionally well."

"I was proud of our team, we hung well in there."

Regarding rivalry: "Yeah when we play. It's an official quality play program. It lets you see what you can improve on because they will always be good."
