Louisville Coming to Fullerton for Super Regional

Indianapolis, IN - The NCAA Div. I Baseball Committee made it official Monday night, announcing that Cal State Fullerton will host Louisville in the best-of-three Super Regional round of the 2009 NCAA Baseball Championships this weekend at Goodwin Field.

All three games of the Fullerton Super Regional, which will run Friday to Sunday, will be televised regionally and/or nationally by ESPN or ESPN2.

Friday night's game (June 5) is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. PDT and will be broadcast on ESPN2. Saturday's game (June 6) will begin at 2 p.m. PDT and air on ESPN. If a third game is necessary on Sunday (June 7), first pitch is slated for a 7 p.m. start and will air on ESPN2 (check your local listings for details).

The determination of the Men's College World Series order of first-round games both Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, will be announced Monday, June 8. The ESPN family of networks and www.ncaa.com will release the MCWS game dates and times as soon as they are available.

The 63rd College World Series begins play Saturday, June 13, at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska.
