TITANS `04: Appeared in 50 games, making 16 starts at first base and a pair of outfield positions • Hit .312 on the year with 16 runs scored and 17 RBI • Had probably two of the biggest hits of the season for the Titans - his pinch-hit double led to the tying run against Jered Weaver and Long Beach State on May 21 in a 2-1 Titan victory, and his pinch-hit triple ignited a three-run rally against Texas in the championship game at the College World Series • Made just two errors in 112 chances (.982) in the field • Was 4-for-5 with a double, triple, and two runs scored in the season-opener at Stanford on Jan. 30 • Had seven multi-hit games • Drove in a career-high three RBI twice against Fresno State (March 20) and Cal Poly (May 1) • Was 3-for-4 with three RBI and a pair of runs scored in the postseason • Hit .474 (9-for-19) in his first five games with three doubles, six runs scored, and three RBI.

COVINA H.S.: Was a three-year letterman at Covina H.S. (Calif.), where he pitched and played shortstop for Coaches Charlie Beal and Ryan Merrill • Cleaned up his senior year, when he garnered Co-Valley Vista League MVP honors in addition to first-team All-San Gabriel Valley and first-team All-CIF honors • Batted .421 with six homers and 21 RBI while posting a 6-1 record and 2.54 ERA on the mound • Helped Covina to a 19-5 record, a league championship and a CIF quarterfinal appearance • Received a first-team all-league selection as a sophomore (.386, two homers, 15 RBI) and junior (.416, 3.28 ERA) • Also a two-time first-team all-league basketball player • An outstanding scholar, Pill graduated 16th in his class, earning the President's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and a CIF Scholar Athlete of the Year candidacy.
