outing of the season came on Mar. 13 against the then No. 1 Tulane
Green Wave, when he tossed 5 innings, allowing three earned runs on
nine hits in the Titans' only loss in New Orleans Notched
his first collegiate win on Mar. 9 against Cal State Northridge in
two innings of scoreless relief Made quite an impression in
his first collegiate outing on Feb. 4 against Stanford, tossing
three shutout innings, picking up his first career save, and
striking out the side in the eighth, including National Player of
the Year candidates Jed Lowrie and John Mayberry, Jr. Gave
up six runs on 12 hits in his only start of the season on Mar. 1 at
San Diego State; the Titans made up for it scoring 18 times
ensuring a no-decision Struck out a career-high 4 batters on
three occasions: Feb. 4 vs. Stanford, Mar. 13 at Tulane and Apr. 17
vs. Pacific. Was almost perfect in the post season, making
four appearances (3.2 innings) without allowing a run and striking
out five.
