NEW YORK--- Two Cal State Fullerton Titans were selected on the second day of the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday.

Junior right-handed pitcher Colton Eastman was the first Titan taken, as he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies with the 107th overall pick in the fourth round. Junior right-handed hurler Andrew Quezada was the other Titan taken, as he was drafted as the 216th overall pick by the Colorado Rockies in the seventh round. Eastman was the Phillies' second overall pick, while Quezada was the Rockies' eighth overall pick.

For Eastman and Quezada, it marks the second time they've been drafted. Eastman was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 30th round in 2015, while Quezada was drafted in the 20th round by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2017

It's now the 44th straight season the Titans have had at least one player selected in the MLB Draft.

The Fresno, California native went 9-3 during the regular season and boasted an impressive 2.26 ERA in 103.2 innings pitched to go along with 108 strikeouts. He held opponents to just a .198 batting average.

For the season, Eastman led the Titans with 11 quality starts. His ERA was 39th lowest nationally, his 15 starts were 16th best nationally, while his 6.34 hits allowed per nine innings were 35th lowest in the country, while his 108 punch outs were 33rd most in the country. His nine wins are 25thmost in all of college baseball and his 0.95 WHIP is 24th best in the nation.

Eastman dominated in the Big West Conference as well. He was named to the league's First Team and earned Big West Pitcher of the Year honors.

He opened conference play with a bang, as he tossed the fifth no-hitter in school history to garner his third career Big West Baseball Pitcher of the Week award as well as national accolades. The right-hander allowed just one walk and struck out seven as he went the full nine innings in a 3-0 win over UC Santa Barbara on March 29.  Eastman joined Longo Garcia (1987), Ted Silva (1995), Kirk Saarloos (2001) and Justin Garza (2014) in the Titan no-hitter club, but was the first among that five to throw the no-hitter on the road.

He made eight starts in league play games and went a perfect 7-0 while recording a 1.54 ERA and fanning 63 batters. He became the 14th Titan to earn pitcher of the year honors.

Eastman's dominance continued last weekend in postseason play, as he led the Titans to a 6-2 victory over Baylor in the opening game of the Stanford Regional on Friday. He went 7.0 innings, surrendered just one earned run on four hits and struck out eight. The performance earned him a spot on the All-Stanford Regional Team.

Quezada also had a dominant season as one of Fullerton's starters. He compiled a 3.90 ERA to go along with a 4-5 record. He struck out 58 batters in 83 innings pitched, while recording three complete games on the season and an producing seven quality starts.

Quezada's play elevated in conference play, going 4-2, tossing three complete games and producing a 2.67 ERA and 42 strikeouts. He earned Big West Player of the Week on April 23rd after tossing a complete-game shutout against then first place Hawai'i on April 22nd
