Titans Set to Host 10th Super Regional in Program History this Weekend at Goodwin Field

INDIANAPOLIS –Cal State Fullerton is set to host its 10th Super Regional in program history and its first since 2013, as it'll take on the Washington Huskies in a three-game series, beginning at Friday at 11 am PT out at Goodwin Field.

Friday's game will be televised on ESPN2 at 11 am PT, while start times for Saturday and Sunday (if necessary) are set for 3:30 pm PT and 6:00 pm PT respectively. Game one will be televised on ESPN2, while the next two contests will be shown on ESPNU.

The Titans enter the weekend a season-high 12 games over .500 at 35-23 after sweeping the Stanford Regional for the second consecutive season. Fullerton also captured an automatic bid into the tournament for the 27th consecutive year after claiming the Big West Championship.

Washington enters the weekend 33-23 overall after sweeping the Conway Regional, defeating Connecticut twice and host Coastal Carolina once. The Huskies earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after having successful Pac-12 campaign.

Fullerton is 8-0 all-time against Washington, but have never met in the postseason. The last meeting between the two squads was in a three-game series at Goodwin Field in 2011.

The Titans are just two wins away from advancing to the program's 19th College World Series and going to Omaha for the second straight year. The Titans have qualified for their 14th Super Regional, which is the second most nationally behind Florida State (16).
