INDIANAPOLIS- Super Regional site hosts will officially be announced tomorrow, Tuesday, June 5th at 5 am PT per the NCAA. The Titans will officially find out where we'll play this weekend then.
Here's what Titans do know. Fullerton will take on the Washington Huskies in Super Regional action for the first time in school history.
The Titans enter the weekend a season-high 12 games over .500 at 35-23 after sweeping the Stanford Regional for the second consecutive season. Fullerton also captured an automatic bid into the tournament for the 27th consecutive year after claiming the Big West Championship
Washington enters the weekend 33-23 overall after sweeping the Conway Regional, defeating Connecticut twice and host Coastal Carolina once. The Huskies earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after having successful Pac-12 campaign.
Fullerton is 8-0 all-time against Washington, but have never met in the postseason. The last meeting between the two squads was in a three-game series at Goodwin Field in 2011.
The Titans are just two wins away from advancing to the program's 19th College World Series and going to Omaha for the second straight year. The Titans have qualified for their 14th Super Regional, which is the second most nationally behind Florida State (16).
