TEMPE, Ariz. --- For the second straight night the Titans set season-highs in runs and hits and for the second straight night it was Fullerton dominating Arizona State, earning a 13-4 win and the mid-week sweep out at Phoenix Municipal Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Titans (7-4) conclude their seven-game road trip with a dominant 5-2 record and have won three in a row for the first time this season.
Every Fullerton starter collected at least one knock, while six Titans recorded multi-hit performances on the evening. Hunter Cullen led the way, collecting a career-high four hits in five at-bats. He also scored two runs and recorded a double.
Joe Wills (1-0) earned his first career win on the mound, giving the Titans just they needed, as he went 5.0 strong innings, surrendering four hits and four runs. However, all of ASU's damage against Wills came in the second, as Wills retired 11 straight Sun Devils to end his night.
From there on it was all gravy, as the Titans end their seven-game road trip with a 5-2 mark.
