DALLAS - One day after earning Big West Conference Pitcher of the Week honors, Cal State Fullerton right-hander added to his accolades Tuesday as he earned the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America's National Pitcher of the Week award.

Eshelman shut down the No. 11 UC Santa Barbara offense Friday night, scattering three hits in eight innings of work to lead the Titans to a 3-0 victory and propel the team into first place in the Big West. He walked one Gaucho, his first free pass in conference play, and fanned nine batters en route to his sixth victory of the year.

Eshelman currently leads the conference with 95 strikeouts.
