FULLERTON, Calif. – Entering his 29th year at the helm of the Cal State Fullerton cross country program, head coach John Elders introduced his 2016 signing class on Monday.
The latest group of Titans, which includes Sandra Flores and Samantha Huerta who signed with Fullerton in November, will enroll for the 2016-17 academic year, competing in cross country, women's indoor track and outdoor track.
"I'm very pleased with our 2016-17 cross country recruiting class," Elders said. "With the combination of talented freshmen and proven junior college transfers, our roster is the deepest and strongest it's been in the last five years. I'm looking forward to seeing both squads take that next step."
The Titans are launching the 2016 season with their annual fundraiser, PRs and Pancakes, at 8 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 27. For more information please kick HERE.
The season official gets underway at the Mark Covert Classic on Saturday, Sept. 3, in Brea, Calif. The Fullerton-hosted event enters its 31st year and honors two-time national champion and Cal State Fullerton's first Division II All-American, Mark Covert.
