CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2014): Competed in six events, placing in the overall top-35 on four occasions…ran a season-best 8K time of 25:36.0 at the Rim Rock Farm Classic on Oct. 4 in Lawrence, Kan., also finishing a season-best 21st overall and fourth among CSF runners...competed at the Big West Championships in Riverside, Calif., on Nov. 1, covering the 8K course in 25:45.8 to finish 47th overall and sixth among Fullerton participants…concluded the season at the NCAA West Regionals in seventh place among CSF student-athletes and 182nd overall, logging a time of 33:31.5 at the 10K event in Stanford, Calif., on Nov. 14.
TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2014): Competed in nine distance events for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... participated in the 800-meter run four times during the season with his personal-best time of 1:56.03 (fourth place) coming at the Big West Challenge on April 11... in the 800-meter run he placed in the top-10 in three of his four events... in the 1500-meter run he recorded a personal-best of 4:00.06 to finish sixth at the UC Irvine Spring Break Meet on March 22... ran the 3000-meters once during his rookie campaign and he won the event at the Riverside CC Meet on March 8 with a personal-best time of 8:47.44... also ran the 5000-meter at the Ben Brown Invitational and he placed 18th with a time of 15:29.38.
CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2013): Competed in six events for the season…placed in the overall top-30 in three events…ran a season-best 26:11.45 over the 8K course at the Mustang Challenge in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Sept. 21, also finishing a season-best 22nd overall...competed in one 6K event on Oct. 19 in Riverside Calif., finishing in 51stplace with a mark of 19:15.7 at the Highlander Invitational…concluded the season with the Titan Invitational in fifth place among the CSF runners and 65th overall, logging a time of 26:46.5 at the 8K event on Oct. 25.
MATER DEI HIGH SCHOOL Four-year varsity letter winner in both cross country and track for the Monarchs under head coach Rick Martinez... was named the Monarchs Cross Country MVP during the 2012 season... also awarded the Trinity League MVP in track and field during his senior season... set personal bests in the 800m (1:55), one-mile run (4:15), and three-mile run (15:05).
