CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2014): Competed in five events during the season…placed in the overall top-50 in a pair of events…posted her best finish at the CSUSB Coyote Classic on Sept. 27, covering the 6K course in 25:22.2 to finish 43rd overall, and second among Fullerton participants…concluded the season running a season-best 20:13.0 over the 5K course at the Titan Invitational on Oct. 24, finishing 50th overall.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2014): Competed in seven different meets this season for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season, primarily running the 3000-meter steeplechase... ran a personal best 11:49.91 in the 3000-meter steeplechase to finish 18th at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 18... had her best finishes of sixth place in the steeplechase this season at both the Big West Challenge and UC Irvine Spring Break Meet... also ran the 1500-meter once and 5000-meter twice... in the 1500-meters she posted an eighth place finish at the Riverside CC Meet on March 8 with a time of 5:13.58... in the 5000-meter run she posted a personal best of 19:30.82 (19th place) at the Steve Scott Invitational on May 4.
CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2013): Competed in seven events during the season…placed in the overall top-25 in three events…ran a season-best 18:52 over the 5K course at the Inter-Region Jamboree in Sacramento, Calif., on Oct. 4, finishing 113th overall...posted her best finish at the CSUSB Invite on Sept. 28, covering the 6K course in 23:44.1 to finish 14th overall, and seventh among Fullerton participants…concluded the season at the Big West Championships in seventh place among the CSF runners and 52nd overall, logging a time of 24:47.2 at the 6K event in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Nov. 2.
VISTA MURRIETA HIGH SCHOOL Ran two seasons of track and one season of cross country for the Broncos under head coaches Karen Candaele and Denise Robinson... finished second at the California State Meet during her junior season... school record holder in the 4x1600m relay and 4x800m... placed seventh at the CIF-SS D1 preliminaries with a time of 18:33 at Mt. Sac... set personal best times in the 1600m (5:16), 3200m (11:22), and three-mile run (18:15).
PERSONAL Born in Wildomar, Calif... parents are Daniel and Irma... has two brothers, Jesse and Timothy, and two sisters Olivia and Lydia... currently undeclared... chose Fullerton because of the location and the coaching staff... didnt start running cross country or track until junior year of high school... favorites include: Santa Rosa Plateua (place to run), Lakers, Angels (athletic teams), Lamar Odom (athlete), The Notebook (movie), Taylor Swift (musical artist), pizza and ice cream (foods).
