FULLERTON, Calif. - Justin Lowe and Amir'a Edmond are the ninth and 10th student-athletes to sign National Letters of Intent to join the Cal State Fullerton track and field program in the fall of 2019.
Lowe, a Concord native that is graduating from Clayton Valley High School, will join the Titans in the fall as a sprinter. He primarily competed in the 200 and 400 meters in high school with personal-best times of 21.76 and 47.58 in those respective events. He took third place in the NCS Meet of Champions with a 200-meter time of 22.15 (-1.8 wind) and then he won the 400 meters at 48.52. He took eighth place in the Arcadia Invitational with a time of 49.04.

Edmond, who hails from Las Vegas and is graduating from Rancho High school, will be a Titan in the fall of 2019 as a short sprinter. She has personal-best times of 11.68 in the 100 meters and 24.27 in the 200 meters. She won the NIAA 4A State Championship in both the 100 meters (11.68, +1.7 wind) and 200 meters (24.43, -1.7 wind). She was also on the second-place relay squad in the 4x100-meter relay at the state championships with a time of 47.66.
