FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's track and field senior Mason Rollins was named the Big West Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

Rollins (Bakersfield, Calif./Mira Monte HS) earned Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors after becoming a triple winner at the season-opening RCC Invitational. The sprinter took first place in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 relay for the Titans, with all three marks currently ranking No. 1 in the Big West. He tied his personal-best in the 100m with a time of 10.54 and ran a career-best 21.25 in the 200m for his second individual event victory of the meet. Rollins also ran a leg on the 4x100 team that won their race in 40.61 seconds.

The Titans host the Ben Brown Invitational on Friday and Saturday next week at the Titan Track Complex on campus. Competition starts at 10:30 a.m. PT on both days.
