FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton track and field head coach John Elders announced the men's and women's outdoor track and field schedule on Tuesday. The season begins for the Titans on March 1 at the RCC Invitational in Riverside, Calif.
After opening up the season in Riverside, the Titans return home to host the Ben Brown Invitational at the Titan Track Complex on March 8-9. CSF also hosts the Titan Team Challenge on March 30 and Titan Twilight on May 3.
Also in March, the Titans compete at the UC Irvine Spring Break Invite (March 15-16), Baldy Castillo Invitational (March 15-16), UCR Spring Classic (March 21-23) and the UCLA Bob Larson Distance Carnival (March 29).
The squad opens up April with the Big West Challenge on April 5 in Irvine, Calif. On the weekend of April 12-13, the team will be split up between the UCSD Triton Invite and the Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational. Between April 17-20, the Titans will be split amongst three different meets. Those meets include the California Invitational (April 17-18), Bryan Clay Invitational (April 18-19) and the Beach Invitational (April 19-20). The ensuing weekend, Fullerton closes out April with the Steve Scott Invitational (April 26-27).
On May 3-4, the Big West Combined Events take place for the heptathletes and decathletes in Santa Barbara. The Big West Championships will be hosted UC Santa Barbara on May 10-11.
This year, the NCAA DI West Preliminary Round is being hosted by Sacramento State at Hornets Stadium on May 23-25.
The season wraps up at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas on June 5-8.
