HIGH SCHOOL 
A 2015 graduate from Norte Vista High School, earned a varsity letter his last 3 years under head coach, Carl Mathews. As a sophomore, won River Valley league (RVL) Champion in 800m. As a junior, won RVL champion in the 800m, 3rd place in the Riverside City Championships 800m. As a senior, RVL champ in 800m with 1:58.5, Riverside City Champ in 800m with 1:59, 2nd place in the Riverside City Championships 1 mile with a PR of 4:32, 3rd in the Inland Empire Championships 800m with 1:57.3 and 12th at CIF DIV 2 Championships 800m with a PR of 1:57.1, RVL champion in 4x400 PR split time of 50.5.

PERSONAL 
Born in Riverside, Calif. to parents Anastacio Jaurez and Margarita Farfan. Has two siblings, Eduardo and Karen. Studying Computer Science. Favorites include: David Rudisha (Athlete), Santa Ana River Trails and the Track (Places to Play) Rice Pudding (Food).
