FULLERTON, Calif. – The men's and women's outdoor track and field team will wrap up its regular season slate this weekend at the Big West Track and Field Championships, held at Jack Rose Track Stadium at Long Beach State, this Friday and Saturday.

The two-day event will kick off Friday morning beginning with the men's hammer throw to go along with seven other field events, while trials for track events will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Saturday morning will kick off with the women's hammer throw also followed by seven field events, while the women's 4x100 meter relay will kick off the track finals beginning at 2:08 p.m.

The Titans will be heading to Long Beach after three Titans participated in the Big West Multi's last weekend while the rest of the squad competed in the Oxy Invitational.

Last season, the Titans took home two titles at the Big West Championships while senior Josh Gordon broke a pair of school records.

The Titans head into the Big West Championships after shattering four different school records thus far this season, while also leading the Big West in five different events.

Eli Penick will get an opportunity to hold his ground as he leads the Big West in the 100 meter dash, while Thaddeus Smith and Janaya Shorty will get the same opportunity in the 200 meter.

All-Session tickets will be sold for $20 while those for youth, seniors and students will be sold for $10. Single day tickets will also be available for $12 and $7.
