OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SENIOR (2014): Sims had an impressive senior season for the Titans as one of the top sprinters on the team... she set season bests in both the 100-meter (11.76) and 200-meter (23.91), while placing fourth in both events at the Big West Championships. Her 100m time ended up being the seventh fastest in the conference, while her 200-meter mark ranked sixth... in additon, she also placed second three-times in the 100-meter, while taking home first place in the 200-meter dash (24.27) at the Cal/Nevada Championships... also qualified for the NCAA West Regionals in the 100 and 200-meter dash... was also part of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams... in the 4x100m relay she helped the Titans record a season-best 45.22 at the UC Riverside Invitational to finish second... in the 4x400m relay she was a key contributor for the Titans as they won the event at the Cal/Nevada Championship on April 5.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SENIOR (2014): Was one of the top sprinters for the Titans during the 2014 indoor track and field season... was named to the MPSF All-Academic team... competed in 14 indoor events, mostly the women's 100 and 200-meter dash... in the 100-meter she set a personal record of 7.66 to place third at the Boise State Team Challenge... in five of her seven races in the 100-meter dash she placed in the top four... in the 200-meter dash she posted a season best 24.75 to finish first in the prelims during the MPSF Championships...she was also part of the 4x400m relay team that placed fourth at the MPSF Championships with a time of 3:50.16.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD JUNIOR (2013): Competed in 18 outdoor track and field individual events for the Titans during the 2013 season…in the women’s 100-meter dash her top time was 11.73 in the prelims at the Big West Championship on May 10-11…won the Big West Challenge on Apr. 12 in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.81, while equaling a personal best time of 24.19 in the 200-meter and placing second…she competed in 15 relay events for the Titans during the 2013 season…led the Titans to first place at the Big West Challenge in both the women's 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay finishing with times of 46.21 in the 4x100 and 3:46.05 in the 4x400…at the Big West Championships she tied her personal best mark of 23.78 and finished third in the 200-meter dash final…in the 4x400 relay set the previous season best time by running a time of 3:42.59 and placing fourth.

PERSONAL Born in Granada Hills, Calif....parents are Patrick and Roxana Sims...has two younger brothers Corey and Sean, and has a younger sister Janelle....currently majoring in psychology and minoring in kinesiology and wants to eventually become a marriage and family therapist or a sports psychologist...in her free time she enjoys cooking, making collages, and painting nails.
