TRACK & FIELD SENIOR (2014): Competed in six distance events for the Titands during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... ran the 3000-meters once this season placing 14th with a season-best time of 8:53.97... participated in the 5000-meter run four times during the 2014 season and had a personal-best time of 15:30.11 on March 22 at the UC Irvine Spring Break to finish 17th... recorded his best finish of the season at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 18 when he placed eighth with a time of 15:31.76... competed in the 10,000-meter run once and placed 12th with a season-best time of 32:31.96 at the Cal/Nevada Championships on April 5.

CROSS COUNTRY SENIOR (2013): Utilized redshirt season. 

TRACK & FIELD JUNIOR (2013): Competed in six events for the Titans during the 2013 track and field season...competed once in the 1500-meter run this season, finishing in 15th place with a time of 4:17.35 at the Pomona Preview on March 1-2...participated three times in the 5000-meter run and had a personal best time of 15:34.35 at the Spring Break Invite on March 22-23 in Irvine, Calif...finished 15th with a time of 32:53.92 in the men's 10,000-meter run at the Cal/Nevada Championships, which was second-best for the Titans this season.

CROSS COUNTRY JUNIOR (2012): 
In his junior season, Castellon was a force for the Titans averaging 26 minutes per meet over an 8k course. Competing in six events this season, including the NCAA West Regionals, Castellon had a season-best time of 25:45.7 at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 15. Also, had his best finish at the Big West Championships when he finished in 32nd place (29 points) with a time of 25:48.9 to lead the Titans. Covering the 10k NCAA West Regional course Castellon finished in 167th place with a time of 33:25. 

CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2011): Competed in all six team competitions for the Titans... ran his best time of the season at the Big West Conference Championships on Oct. 29, finishing the 8K course in 25:22.1 to place 43rd... also posted top-25 finishes at the Fullerton Asics Season Opener (26:21.9, 24th), helping the Titans to a second-place team finish, and also at Northridge Invitational (26:02.5, 25th), where Fullerton finished third... finished 141st at the NCAA West Regional meet, finishing the 10K course in a time of 32:21.

CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in all six team meets for the Titans... posted his best time of 25:08 at the Northridge Invitational on Oct. 16, finishing 19th (16 points) and helping Fullerton to a third-place finish... also ran a 25:08.6 at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 18, finishing 41st... covered the 10K NCAA West Regionals course in 34:09.38 to finish 167th... finished in the top 50 in four of the six meets... scored 25 points to help the Titans finish third at their own season opener, running the 8K course in 27:08.1 to finish 31st.

COLONY HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity letter winner in cross country under head coach Steve Hernandez and a three-year letter winner in track for the Titans... Mt. Baldy League cross country MVP as a sophomore and senior... two-time league cross country champion as a sophomore and senior... set the school record in cross country as a senior (15:21)... finished eighth at the CIF Championships as a senior... league champion in both the mile (4:28) and two-mile runs (9:32 - school record) as a senior... school track MVP as a senior.

PERSONAL
Born in West Covina... parents are Jose and Soledad... has three brothers: Alex, Adam, and Andrew... majoring in communications/entertainment studies... his father, Jose, was a distance runner under head coach John Elders at Cal State Fullerton from 1991-94... lists watching/playing baseball and music among his hobbies and interests... is also a part-time DJ.
