Lee, Jordan Record Wins on Day Two of MPSF Championships

Day One Recap

SPOKANE, Wash.London Lee won the women's triple jump and Abel Jordan finished atop the podium in the men's 60m hurdles on the final day of competition at the MPSF Championships for Cal State Fullerton indoor track & field. As a team, the men finished in third place while the women took fifth place overall. 

Lee and Jordan were among six Titans to tally individual school records this season. Lee notched a mark of 12.41m in the women's triple jump, while Jordan ran the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 7.95. Christian Wood's mark of 7.33m to win the men's long jump yesterday was also a school record. 

Justin Lowe finished second in the men's 400m with a time of 47.39 to set a new school mark, while Alonzo Floriolli also finished second in the men's 60m with a time of 6.66 for a school record. The men's 4x400m team set a school-best mark of 3:10.29 to finish in second place. Andrew Aguilar set a school record and finished second in the men's heptathlon with 5470 points overall. 

In the women's 60m dash, Trinity Barnett took silver as well with a personal-best time of 7.42. McKaylie Caesar took home the silver medal in the women's mile with a personal-best time of 4:49.73. 

Other notable results included a fourth-place finish for McKaylie Caesar in the women's 3000m and a fourth-place finish by the women's 4x400m team with a time of 3:49.18. 

The Titans now look forward to the outdoor season, which will begin on March 10-11th with the AstroAI Distance Classic and Ben Brown Invite, both taking place at home in Fullerton.
