WOODLAND, Calif. – Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Executive Director, Al Beaird, announced the All-Academic MPSF Scholar-Athletes for the 2019 women's indoor track & field season. Three student-athletes from the Cal State Fullerton track and field program, Kyra Anderson, Alayah Byers and Kiana Clay, all garnered All-Academic accolades based on the following criteria:
- 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received.
4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
Anderson, a junior from Los Angeles, boasts a 3.08 cumulative GPA and primarily competed in the 60 meters, 60-meter hurdles and long jump during the 2019 indoor season.
Byers, a senior sprinter from Alta Dena, focused on the 60 meters and 200 meters during indoors, owns a cumulative 3.60 GPA.
Clay, a native of Turlock, ran the 200 meters and 400 meters for the Titans during her junior campaign.
