Boulder, Colo. - The Cal State Fullerton women's indoor track and field team opened up at the CU Invitational on Friday night. Iesha Hamm highlighted the day with a victory in the women's high jump. Competition resumes on Saturday at 12 p.m. PT.

Hamm cleared 5-9.25 (1.76m) in her first meet of the 2019 season to earn the victory in the high jump competition. Alexis Vincent-Walker took fifth place in the event at 5-3.25 (1.61m).

Mariah Lark tied her personal best and took fifth place in the pole vault with a clearance 11-11.75 (3.65m) while Shelby Noble cleared the same height but tied for seventh due to misses.

Kyra Anderson earned a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 17-10.75 (5.45m). Ryann Mojica's mark of 17-2 (5.23m) was good for ninth place. In the triple jump, Onyx Gaston's mark of 37-2.25 (11.33m) was good for sixth place. 

Sinai Fatafehi and Bertha Sola went 7-8 in the weight throw with respective marks of 54-7.25 (16.64m) and 50-10.75 (15.51m). Fatafehi's toss was a personal best.
