SEATTLE --- Freshman Bertha Sola recorded a personal best in the women's weight throw, while the Titans also competed in the 200 meters, pole vault and pentathlon at the UW Invitational on Friday at Dempsey Indoor on the University of Washington campus.
Sola improved her throw in the weight throw from a week ago by more than two meters as the San Diego native recorded a personal best of 14.15 meters, good for 29th.
Competing in the pentathlon for the first time this season, Ifunanya Gwacham tied for 24th with a total of 2,802 points as she was led by an eighth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 10.78 meters.
Jordan Agnew also totaled 2,802 points in the pentathlon.
Freshman Naiah Boardingham ran the fastest time in the 200 meters for a Titan this season with a time of 24.95, good enough for a 16th-place finish, while junior Jade Lewis produced a time of 25.20 to finish 23rd.
Freshman Shelby Noble finished 11th in the pole vault at 3.53 meters, an improvement from her mark last week at the Lumberjack Team Challenge.
Fullerton will continue competition at the UW Invitational on Saturday.
